Explorer Chartbooks had posted their "New Fuel & Dockage Survey Posted 9/20/12" on their website. It states "Practically all fuel prices were up since last month.  Several marinas reduced dockage prices this month and several more marinas, hotels, and restaurants have closed for the slow season. Bimini Bay Closes until November

Bimini Bay Resort will be undergoing a seasonal closure effective September 30th, 2012 for a period of four to six weeks with an opening on or before November 15th, 2012.

During this time the project will be performing a comprehensive exercise to upgrade and improve various resort amenities including the enhancement of several of food and beverage outlets and common areas.

The cost of these resort improvements will amount to several million dollars. This is in addition to the $24 million that is being spent on the new boutique casino that will open in the beginning of 2013.

ABACO, BAHAMAS, 3/2011- – Competitors for the 28th Annual Treasure Cay Billfish Tournament (TCBT) can save up to $300 with the first-ever offer of a Bahamas Cruising Permit rebate. Treasure Cay Hotel Resort & Marina in Abaco, Bahamas will host the competition on June 12-17, 2011. The rebate can be redeemed through the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
